Jack Hamer is the latest player from the East production line to be called up by Lancashire.
Everyone at the club is delighted for hooker Jack, following a season of sparkling form for the Under-16s.
Coach Dave Rudd said "I'm absolutely chuffed to bits for Jack, He was away on holiday when he got told of his selection and his Dad actually drove him home from Holidays to train with the Lancs squad and then drove back.
"That's the sort of dedication I see each week that has been rewarded.
It's a huge honour for Jack and the rest of the players picked to represent the Red Rose of Lancashire and I want to wish them all good luck in the up-coming Tri-series."
Jack forms part of the 23-strong Lancashire Under 17 squad that will take on Yorkshire and Cumbria.
