After months of hard work Leigh East Communications team, in partnership with leading digital marketing and design agency Tecmark, have developed the new site using the very latest technology.

The new site is responsive on all devices meaning it can be used just as well on a tablet and mobile as it can on a desktop computer or laptop. 

The communications team, working closely with Tecmark, have spent several months developing the new site after a detailed survey and assessment of leading websites in both amateur and profesional sport and the commercial world.

Speaking on behalf of the communications team Andy Mazey commented:

"In order to increase revenue and enhance Leigh Easts profile not only as a rugby club but as a brand, we identifed as a new communications team that the existing site was outdated and required at very least upgrading.

Thanks to a relationship from my time in the professional game, Teckmark have become a key partner of the club and this new website is pretty unique in the amateur game as its been designed and developed exclusively for Leigh East by Tecmark, whos other current clients in Rugby League include Bradford Bulls and Salford Red Devils.

The site gives Leigh East a fantastic platform to give sponsers and commercial partners an increased level of exposure for the support and investment gratefully recieved. Ultimatley Leigh East are now well positioned to drive web traffic and new revenue streams to new and existing partners and sponsers alike.

It is important for any potential critics to understand that the site has been launched in its initial format but will continue to be populated with content and improved and updated as it is a work in progress.

It is a credit to everyone involved and has been produced at zero cost to the club and not only showcases Leigh East as a Rugby League club, but demonstrates they have the finest facilities in the amateur game also.

It also brings together the clubs various media streams with live social media feeds as well as a web based TV platform for weekly highlights and regular club features including Coaches Corner"
