This was a good win for the Lions who fought back well to win against a big Oldham team.

The Lions started slowly, losing 3-2 in first quarter, ring rusty from their winter break.

Once they got going however, St Annes found it difficult to get out their own half with some great defence combining moving in and strong tackling.

The majority of the team got into double figures with their tackling with best tackle award going to Hayden Howarth.

 
Star of the match was new signing Leon Ramsdale who transferred from the Wolves pre season. He scored four tries in a superb man of the match performance.
