Leigh East NWML side gained a good win at Wigan Bulldogs on Saturday, coming back from a 22-10 half-time deficit to win 37-22.

The hosts dominated the first half and ran in four tries, three of which were converted. In response, East registered tries for Rhys Lockwood and Alistair Anderson, with Chris Penn putting over a goal.

The second half by comparison, saw an impressive effort from East, who kept the Bulldogs scoreless and then went up the other end to claim four tries. Brad Gallagher scored two of them with Matty Aspinall and Dean Balmer chipping in with other touchdowns as the visitors rallied to take control.

Penn added five more goals and drop goal to his tally and finished with thirteen points to his name as East celebrated at the final whistle.
