Leigh East can confirm that their "Street of Origin" derby on Saturday will have a capacity of just 250 and will be an all-ticket affair with gates opening at 1:30pm.

Working with Leigh Sports Village this week, this capacity has been set based upon current government rules, Wigan MBC, Leigh Sports Village, and what is currently deemed safe.

Leigh Miners Rangers will have an allocation of tickets for family and friends of playing and coaching staff but we wanted to get a message out as soon as we were able.

Understandably we are disappointed that more people will not be allowed pitchside as the derby games are always best-attended, and because we want to give an opportunity to as many people as we can to see the game we have agreed that the game can be screened via Terry Gorman and his LIVE RUGBY Youtube channel. Speaking about this, Media Manager Dave Parkinson said, "We'd like to thank Terry for stepping forward and agreeing to stream the game. I've worked with Terry on numerous occasions on Rugby League and OurLeague productions and know that everyone watching will get a good view of the action, which is especially grateful considering that the club is working to a reduced capacity at Ledgard Avenue. We don't want anyone to miss out."
