Leigh East entertained a fellow undefeated opponent in Wigan St Judes on Sunday in a really entertaining game.
It was end to end and kept spectators hooked.
The first quarter belonged to East with some great defence and attacking play taking them in to the lead, Judes though clawed back in the second quarter picking out defensive holes that appeared in the East line to take the lead by two tries at half time.
The third quarter was evenly matched - both teams exchanging try for try but East did manage to come within one try, going into the final ten minutes.
This ten minutes was probably in Easts favour. In the dying minute they had one set of six left to force a draw and despite battering the Judes line they just couldn't force their way over.
A draw would have been a fair result and both teams should be very proud of their attacking play.
