Leigh East U11s entertained Wigan St Pats on Sunday with a lot to prove after their disappointment of last week.

Right from the start East cmae up with some slick play, which saw Luke Thorpe glide his way through the middle of numerous defenders in the first few minutes.

More strong running from the forwards set the platform for the rest of the team and further tries from Finn Penkywicz, Cohen Addi, Aaron Balmer and goals from Balmer,Addi and Jackson gave them a convincing victory of 22-4 which is what was needed to boost their confidence.

It was a great game played in good spirit and both teams played some good rugby league
